Please Read What We are Doing To Protect Our Patients and Guests
Below please find out what we are using to keep everyone safe. Your help is necessary !
IF YOU HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT EXPOSING YOURSELF OR ANYONE AROUND YOU, you are welcome to wear a mask in the waiting area.
I have and continue to use a CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2) MONITOR in my treatment room, which indicates how CONCENTRATED THE AIR IS. The more concentrated the air, the more concentrated any particles that hover in that air (Viruses, Bacteria, etc). This allows me to maintain the feeling of "being on the back porch" for your visit, with safe levels of infectious particles, small particle dust, and volatile organic compounds (air pollutants).
I also have an Austin Air Purifier which is essentially 20 pounds of activated charcoal with a silver foil liner and a ten micron filter to remove and destroy any viral, yeast or bacterial particles. This runs continuously 24/7.
Our BATHROOM FAN is always left on, with the unoccupied door slightly ajar to ensure that the air in that room is clean for the next person Our office HVAC system is state-of-the-art nano-particle filtration system.
It is our position that you shouldn't go to the doctor's office and become sick—it should be a safe home for healing.
I follow the Contra Costa County Infectious Disease Guidelines and CDC Guidelines as they are published.
